I brought my poor baby for her immunizations today. The nurse and an assistant came in. The assistant held her legs and the nurse told me to hold both her arms. I recorded the audio to share with Fred since I had to go alone. It didn't affect him nearly as much, becasue he's not Mommy, he didn't see the terror in her eyes, and feel her grabbing for comfort after they jabbed her and left the room. She certainly cried louder, but I cried longer.
We left with a Bugs Bunny bandaid on each little thigh. I'm crying just typing this and thinking about it..
Oh, she weighed 12 lbs 1 oz, and was 23.5 inches long. Her head circumference was 16 3/4!

I've cried every time Kerrison had her limited shots. Pierce hasn't had any yet.
I cried everytime too (and my oldest is 8)! It doesn't get easier in that department!
I am SO not looking forward to her 2 month check up next week. I'm sure i will be crying too!!! What percentile is Lydia in for all 3? I'm thinkin' Ella is going to be a lot bigger than average this time around...she's a chunk now
And i love it!!
awww. what a big girl!!! 12 pounds. they grow so fast. those shots are never fun =(
@ShamrockLover - 90th Percentile! I'm only 4'11" and Fred is only 5'9" so if she keeps growing she will tower over us! I keep calling her chunker too. I've got to stop before she gets older. I've got a friend who calls her 12 year old Poopy, and one who calls her 3 year old Stinkybutt. I must refrain from embarrassing nicknames. LOL
@AbsolutelyNormalChaos61308 - Oh, it devestated me!
it is an aweful experiance.. I know how you feel.. My baby just came back from getting her tubes done.. It was aweful.. however she didn't even cry
