I see other Mommies can do it, but right now we are working on getting on a schedule. We're still having breastfeeding issues
(Please pray about that) This is what's been taking up all my time...

Motherhood is truly amazing. I hope to be back soon. Just know I'm thinking of you all.

sooooooooo sweet! enjoy your time as a new mommy!
@ShamrockLover - I was hoping you'd be on your way to labor and delivery after having your membranes striped!
I have 3 beautiful, healthy, and happy girls. I never breastfed. Not even one time. It just made me feel really uncomfortable. They are happy, and well adjusted children. Don't put too much stock in what is difficult. It will work out the way it shouold in the end. I have to say. She is just perfect. and you look so beautiful too. Good work mom. you make beautiful babies.
She is so pretty...
@SpongeBobScaredyPants -@bravehsgirl - Thanks so much!
I had a difficult time with Nathanael. When he was about 2 wks old he stopped nursing, and only wanted the bottle. My mild supply dwindled, and I cried everytime I sat down to feed him. Which, as you know, is all the time....anyway....La Leche League sent a consultant to our house, for FREE to help me. Her suggestion was to keep offering the breast (in our house we said NURSIE) at each feeding. WIthin a few weeks he was nursing, greedily,...ok...like a PIRANAH... and I weaned him at 2.5yr.
Some women have a hard time, especially when you're well endowed. Personally, I found the most comfortable position was to lay on the side, on the bed, and put baby next to me. Baby naturally rooted for the milk and I didn't have as much trouble getting baby to latch on. One BIG problem I had was baby getting cozy and falling asleep before they finished eating, and THAT make any schedule terrible.
THE biggest help to me with my last 2 was learning to recognize the signs of a hungry baby before they would cry. It is MUCH easier and LESS tense to attempt to nurse a baby that is calm and not crying than when they are famished.
The WIC people can help too.
