I don't get to comment like I want to, but I DO read when I get a chance.
I have a minute now. Lydia is napping (who knows for how long). She has been rolling over from back to tummy periodically. She loves potty words, (such as poop, and puke) she CRACKS up hysterically when she hears them. I'm trying to replace them with "boop" (when I touch her nose) and others. It is cute, but I don't want to start her vocabulary with them.
We are still considering moving in August. Our lease here is up on August 14th. Not that we don't like out place, but we're thinking about moving out of the area. If we stay in Albany, we will stay here.
My parents are coming for a visit this weekend! I'm so excited to see them! If we do move(where we're praying about), we'll be a bit farther from them but not TOO far.
We've been working on rice cereal. after almost every spoonful, she crams her fingers in her mouth, (almost as if to help her swallow) has anyone experienced this? My mind seems so disjointed lately. (maybe you can tell by the way this post doesn't flow at all - lol)
I watched "Fireproof" yesterday, I bawled my eyes out almost the whole movie. Sherwood Baptist Church is minutes from our apartment, it is neat to see so many local places in the movie. Lydia was born at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hosptial which appears several times in the movie. I grew up in Red Bank, NJ where Kevin Smith filmed a lot of his movies, so I'll have to see if any movies have been filmed in our "possible" new town. lol

Glad to know ur alive. You should move to texas..Im here and hat is reason enough. Fire proof made me cry, but not as hard as I cried at the end of Diary of a mad black woman.
Ella doesn't do that with her fingers, but she's obsessed with the rice cereal that falls on the bib and constantly tries to eat her bib while i'm feeding her. If you gave her a spoon to hold, do you think she'd put it in her mouth or just play with it? It might be the key to keeping her hands away from her mouth....or it might just be a substitute and she'll use the spoon instead of her hands. It's worth a try!
@ShamrockLover - Lydia does the bib thing too. I tell her, "Lydia, Mommy has fresh cereal on the spoon, you don't need to suck it off the bib!" Lol That is funny that you mentioned giving her a spoon. I tried that tonight (of course I just gave her THE spoon I was using. I think I'll try a spare tomorrow.)
Our church is having a movie night in July. They are going to feature Fireproof. I am so excited to see it. I wanted to go when it was new in the theater but that didn't happen. I am soooooo going in July. They will also have a movie for the children to see as well. It will be good for the whole family.
