  • Up till 4:30 at King James Bible Baptist Church praying this AM.  We just ate Wendy's and watched "The faith of George W.Bush"  Stopped by Brian's before and dropped off tracts, and picked up a CD.  At Bible Believers Church of Manhattan tomorrow we will be having the Lord's supper, As well as dinner.  Probably won't make it back to Staten Island for evening service.

  • Ah....see just because I'm a believer doesn't mean that I don't need reaching out to. Everyone does. I admit I am not a perfect Christian, I admit I sin daily and I need to relay on the Lord more, I struggle, as does everyone else.

Yes, I got pregnant before I was married...and whether someone repents or not does not give reason to shun. My mother was told to shun me (from a few people in the congregation) and there was a big controversy for my dad to step down from being a deacon because they believed he lacked a good relationship with me and that is why I got pregnant. Well, it so happens, I did repent but that's not the point. The point is that you are not to shun anyone away because of a mistake (not meaning my son was a mistake because I believe that God gave him to me to save me from the track of self-destruction I was on). You are not free from sin either, but should people shun you away? No. Everyone needs to feel the love of God and if you shun someone that is surely not showing the love of Jesus Christ. That is when people need to know they are loved all the more. If I was shunned I would not have ever gone back to the church because that shows that they are hypoctrites. If my father was made to step down (the pastor apologized for realizing he was wrong), I would not have gone back to church. No one is a perfect Christian....everyone falls. My sin was a public sin yes, I know that. But should anyone be shunned for any reason? No. Should people condone the behavior? No. Should people show the love of Jesus to them, yes. I don't know if you have ever went through any hard times, but that is when you need the love of God the most. It reminds me of the DC Talk song from way back "What If I Stumble". You may never have heard it because you do not listen to contemporary Christian music but it is a good song. I will leave you with some lyrics from it....

What if I stumble, what if I fall?
What if I lose my step and I make fools of us all?
Will the love continue when my walk becomes a crawl?
What if I stumble, and what if I fall?
What if I stumble, what if I fall?
You never turn in the heat of it all
What if I stumble, what if I fall?

  • OOOHHH  That thing about George Bush.... I've heard about it.  Was it good?  Is there a number I can call to order one?
