  • I feel like I am going to hell. Got rid of TWO BAGS OF CLOTHES!!! Dropped them off in one of the bins outside the supermarket so that they can do someone else good.

And 2 LAWN AND LEAF BAGS OF CASSETTE TAPES!!! I guess my first REAL tapes were Bruce Springsteen “Tunnel of Love” and Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam “Spanish Fly” Hey it was 1987. My first Walkman (The no brand one from Caldor) I was cool.

Through the years until 1994 when I bought my first CD player I drank tapes like they were water. Garage Sales, BMG, Columbia House, Bradlees, The Wall, Record World…. If I had money, I was buying a tape. I had every album by “The Cure” and Elton John. Probably close to 400 tapes went in the trash. I saved a few mixes for sentimental reasons, but I threw out a life time of music. I need to get the CD’s now…..

  • did you forget to mention 8 track? :)

  • Disentagration is the best album ever!

Sorry, had to get my South Park quote in there.

Anyway, The Cure is pretty awesome. I’m shocked you chucked all those tapes, but at the same time, if you’re going to be getting them on CD more power to you. You can probably get most of their older stuff really cheap these days.

  • Wait why are you going to hell for getting rid of clothes?  You donated them.

I still have some cassete tapes that I’m quite embarrassed to admit I own  *coughcoughKrisKrosscoughcough*
