Went to the Dr. today. I am 39 weeks 6 days. I am ONE FINGERTIP DILATED
ONE FINGERTIP? Hardly seems worth it! LOL
So, Dr. Talley says the goal is to have her by next week. He said, "I want you to make an appointment for next Monday, but I don't want you to keep it."
So...... It's just a waiting game now.
Fred is working 45 minutes away, I don't want to have to go to the hospital without him, and have to wait till he makes it back... but Oh, well. God is in control.
I made it to Target this morning and bought more baby clothes hangers.
Went to the library this afternoon, then Fred took me to Zaxby's for lunch. mmmm... I love their crinkle fries.
We're going to "try" some of the "old wives" tales that they say induce labor... .should have had spicy food for lunch....

Hey, how about calling her by name and saying mommy wants you to come out? Encourage her to leave your comfy womb!
Well... I've been eating super spicy food my whole pregnancy.. I don't know if that really works or not. lol. I eat habaneros like they are nothing. I don't know how to make a baby come out though... With both of mine I've always been trying to keep them in. :- Hopefully she comes soon for you!!!
Hey at least you're dilated! When I went it to be induced with Shiphrah I wasn't dilated at all, so they had to use Cervadil (talk about painful contractions!). I'm hoping this time my body will get ready faster.
How many centimeters is a fingertip? Better than nothing! Wishing you the best of luck this week....hang in there!

@JoysieTurner - GASP! LOOK WHO LOGGED ON TO XANGA! "What to expect when you're expecting" says it causes bowel cramps and not really labour. Freddie's boss said the same thing though!

@Donna7 - I might as well try it! We've been praying for the LORD's timing, and even though I'm anxious, his timing is always best!
Amen. I was two weeks late for my ma and pa! So don't worry. But it would be cute to call her out and see what happens eh!
once again DONT TAKE CASTOR OIL to induce labor!!!! It works, but the outcome is not worth it!
@bravehsgirl - I figure I'll let the LORD work it out. He knows better than me!
